DVD2u is "my baby". The section below tells you a little about me, who I am, why I'm doing what I'm doing, who helps me give you great service, and whats this all about.

I'm no different to most ordinary people - A daughter, a wife, and a mother, who appreciates the value of treasured memories..

Well, whats DVD2u all about....

When my dad passed away more than 10 years ago, I was very motivated to preserve our lives we shared with him. My dad was our family's rock, and I needed a way to keep that in place.

I found a way to do just that... and that is how my interest and knowlede of converting films, videos and creating special DVD's all started. Eventually, I stayed busy converting and editing family and friends videos in my spare time - and got good at it. Then, at a point in time, I was in between jobs, and wanted to do something different, something that would be satisfying and something which was fun and fulfilling. Thats when DVD2u was started, and its hard to explain just how satisfying it is. This becomes even more special when some video tapes are damaged, and where some companies tell their clients to throw them away. These clients have brought me their memories on video etc, and I have been able to fix them, and give my clients back their most precious memories and video footage..

I have two children, who are pretty grown up (nearly 22 and 20), and are both excelling in their different fields of choice. Like you, I look at my children and wonder how they grew so quickly, and how time has just flown by!

As any or most parents, my childrens videos, my wedding video and my other family videos are my most valuable treasures. I could lose everything of material nature - but my most prized and valuable possessions are my family fotographs and videos.

So you see, there's really very little differnece between us as far as thats concerned.

Annette, my mum, is my wonderful assistant (and my guardian angel). Mum lives with me, so she's always around to help me help you. My family members all assist in their own ways - even if its just bringing me a cup of tea whilst I'm working.

My hobbies, (when I'm not preserving memories), include fishing with my husband Raymond. He hopes to one day catch that fish "that got away" - (again?), sewing, and of course, watching my boy play rugby! Go Ray!
